EMJ ends European year

The year 2012 was for the EMJ a year full of intense European and internatonal cooperations. As European ambassador a lot of international festivals have been visited, close collaborations with other festivals and organisations organized and contacts established with a variety of people active on an international field of music. Working out these cooperations the EMJ tries to expand its international operation and to intensify various international musical activities.

The European ambassadorial activities can be divided in visits and partnerships :

  • the "Csipero festival" in Kecskemét (Hungary)
  • the "Italy Percussive Arts Society" in Fermo (Italy)
  • the "International Choral Competition Ave Verum" in Baden (Austria)
  • the "Cork International Choral Festival" in Cork (Ireland)
  • the "Europäisches Jugendchor Festival Basel" in Basel (Switzerland)
  • the "International Youth Music Festival" in Bratislava (Slovakia)
  • the "IHlombe festival" in Johannesburg (South-Africa)
  • the "Internationaal Koorfestival Tonen 2000" in Monster (The Netherlands).

The organisation of EMJ concerts and -promotion campains

  • during the "Internationaal Koorfestival Tonen 2000" in Poeldijk-Monster (The Netherlands) with the support of ambassador Amabile.
  • during the "IHlombe festival" in Johannesburg (South-Africa) with the support of ambassador Lirica.
  • in Montespertoli, Bagno a Ripoli, Lamprecchio and Firenze (Italy) during the "Florence Youth Festival" with the support of ambassador NIKO harmony orchestra.
  • in Esch Sur Sûre (Luxembourg) with the support of ambassador NIKO harmony orchestra.
  • during the Csipero festival in Kecskemét (Hungary) and concerts in Budapest with the support of ambassador "Children- and Youth Choir The Piccolo's" and the local organisation.
  • during a concert journey to Lublin (Poland) with the support of ambassador Imago Tijl.
  • during a concert journey to Lithuania and Latvia with the support of ambassador Imago Tijl.
  • during a concert journey to Zelezniki (Sloveniaë) with the support of the IKV Maasmechelen.
  • during a concert journey to Uden (The Netherlands) with the support of the Children choir Kiliana.

Future extra collaborations certainly will be established and other international activities organized.
