After the 58th vocal festival edition all the volunteers of our European Music Festival for Young People again are busy preparing our 59th instrumental festival edition. All children- and youth orchestras interested in participating and enjoying the pleasant European music culture can register

Finally : on Monday May 3rd I will be leaving together with boys and girls of the childrenschoir "Ulrich von Hutten" to Germany : destination Halle / Saale. I"ve been waiting a long time for this and I am really looking forward to meet new people and enjoy other cultures. Visit my

The 30.000 visitors to our festival are mainly to enjoy heavenly voices and take part in the friendly atmosphere of fraternization and youthful enthusiasm. On top of that there will be another kind of art to be cherished this year.

For many years already the European Music Festival for Young People has developed its European dimension and permamently looks for a further expansion of their European functioning. The amount of countries represented by ambassadors of the EMJ is ever increasing. During the last festival no less than 4 members of the jury have been appointed as new ambassadors.

Dear visitor, I would like to give you a hearty welcome at our website. This year, during our 58th edition of the European Music Festival for Young People, a vocal edition, we'll welcome no fewer than 112 choirs from 26 countries spread over the whole continent of Europe and the rest of the world. From 
Do you come to Neerpelt too to fraternize and to discover and appreciate each other's culture? What do you think about your personal statement on the "wall of friendship?" In the area of the Piazza Festivo's entrance is a fully white wall foreseen,of which the intent is that as much as possible festivallovers write down a short but powerful statement with respect to the festival so that all statements togehter form the 'wall of friendship'.
